Yep thats right, after years years we get a second chance at owing the game without a ridiculous price tag (I sold my copy for PS2 for over 100 bucks)

And even the backwards compatibility for the original XBox version of the game was flawed with artifacting on character sprites (LAME) and still a used copy of the game sells for sometimes more than a new MSRP 360 game.

Marvel has dated the game for XBLA re-release for June 29th (we’ll see if that can be a solid date considering who were talking about here). There is no surprise that I just about shit myself when I heard being the dedicated fighting fan that I am, and MvsC 2 being my favorite of the genre. All 56 original characters all still there and there will be some added modern goodness such as optional graphical smoothing filters and online modes in the vein of Street Fighter IV, and SSF2T-HDR (finally I can whoop fighters round the world 3 on 3, while my friends watch with jealous fingers ) the Game will also support widescreen for those of you not living in a cave (j/k)

The game should be 1,200 MSP (or 15$ on PSN) … Lets hope this timing is just the appitizer to a BIGGER announcement at this years ComicCon (MvsC 3, your in my thoughts and dreams)

Keep in mind that this hits the day before BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is released. June is going to be a great month for 2-D fighting everywhere!!! And when this buzz wheres off, awell we always have the long wait for KOFXII
